首先我要说的是我喜欢宝石学这个商业技能。我自己已经修习到360，并且非常热切的盼望着更多的更新发展。我收集了一些大家常见的问题进行了回答，以FAQ的形式给大家宝石学的进修加以指导。
ps:作者希望在alpha的朋友寄给他的角色一些outland的矿石和宝石比如恶魔铁，金钢矿等等，他会用高级药水来交换。

你需要什么来修习宝石学？

基本上就是矿石和宝石，很少会用到炼金材料，很少会用到附魔材料，很少会用到怪物身上掉落的道具。不过从任何角度讲，没有任何一门采集业比挖矿更适合宝石学。

我在哪里可以使用宝石学？

任何地方，并不像裁缝和锻造那样需要月亮井和熔炉。不过几乎所有的宝石学制品都需要一个宝石工具包来切割，你可以从tradegoods那里买到，很便宜8s，但一个一格。

通俗的讲你需要学习如何切割天然宝石以及制造首饰，更直白一点就是宝石学可以让你制作戒指、项链、饰品甚至还有王冠以及镶嵌宝石等等。这是一个非常独特的商业技能，它直接导致装备系统发生天翻地覆的变化，新的具有镶嵌槽的装备将会和原来已有的装备大相径庭，它介于裁缝和附魔之间是一个混合型的商业技能。
那些首饰有多妙？

显著的特点是宝石学的首饰在30级前比目前玩家获取首饰的困难要少很多，这些低级首饰可以帮助玩家更顺利的升级。超过30级后宝石学制品大大超越目前副本中掉落的物品，大约相当于副本任务奖励的级别而又不用去做困难的副本任务。游戏后期的宝石学不仅仅是制造首饰，所有关于宝石的一切都可以制造。

哪个职业将会从宝石学中受益最大？

因为首饰每个职业都可以用，而且宝石又是会强化各个方面的属性点，因此所有的职业都会从宝石学中受益。既有高AP的项链，也有增加护甲的戒指和回蓝饰品，镶嵌的宝石还会增加爆击。这的确是一个与众不同的商业技能并不针对某几个职业进行强化。

我强烈的推荐采矿技能，理由有三：首先它很便宜，其次你的材料有很多不仅仅是从金属锭中来很多都要从原始矿石中来。第三宝石学的主要材料是采矿的副成品，你必须大量采矿才能满足修习的要求。

如果没有采矿那么附魔也不错。
在宝石学中，你所制造的物品绝大多数都是绿色以上的，而大量的冲技能制造的物品在AH销量不会好，只能用来分解。不过宝石学的物品很少有制造出来就绑定的，因此你也可以用自己的小号来分解
我用什么升宝石技能？

宝石学升级主要需要两种廉价物品，石头人偶和宝石学材料。石头人偶是一种少量加血的道具（劣质的石头人偶10hp/秒厚重的石头人偶50hp/秒）

宝石学材料使用来制造其他宝石学物品的材料，就如同布卷和工程铜管。在最低级时2个铜锭制造的铜线就能升一级。

测试期还如此漫长，不过目前你选矿所能选出的宝石，也都是在挖矿中和矿石一同共生的宝石，例如铜矿中的孔雀石和暗影石，秘银矿中的黄水晶，瑟银矿中的艾泽拉斯钻石，恶魔铁中的火焰榴石。

选矿有什么局限？

你只能从白色名字的天然矿石中进行选矿。象银矿金矿，真银之类绿色名字的都不能。另外如果你的宝石学技能不够，你不能摧毁高级金属，比如175才能选秘银，300才能选恶魔铁，350选选金钢。

镶嵌宝石是不是只等于附魔的效果？

有相似，但是宝石可以被放在AH里销售。和附魔相比也有局限，因为它只能加在本身具有镶嵌槽的装备上，没槽的装备只能附魔不能镶嵌。

和附魔的材料相比宝石的确容易许多，但虽然说测试期还很长但现在切割宝石也已经有了冷却时间。一般来讲绿色宝石需要10分钟，蓝色色宝石需要60分钟。如果你的宝石货源够足，你的时间很充裕，你的配方也很特殊和稀有，那么你可以以此维生。

什么是特殊切割？

在我们前面所说的，一种宝石可能有许多种切割方法。比如，一块金色德莱涅石，可以被切割成亮纹(+6Intellect),波纹(+6SpellCriticalRating),粗纹(+6DefenseRating),条纹(+6HitRating),或者顺纹(+6CriticalStrikeRating),这还仅仅是我们目前所知的。每种切割都需要不同的配方因此我们可以想象还有多少潜藏的配方！

在alpha测试，外域暗黑之门所在地图的部落和联盟基地各有一名宝石学大师贩卖配方。正是以后这些配方都会改为世界掉落，当然也有些可能会是NPC来卖。在Nagrand还能找到更稀有的蓝色配方。

蓝色（稀有）宝石？

外域有6种绿色宝石：血石榴石BloodGarnet,火焰榴石FlameSpessarite,深渊橄榄石DeepPeridot,金色德莱涅石GoldenDraenite,暗黑德莱涅石ShadowDraenite,以及碧空月亮石AzureMoonstone.他们都是会和采矿一起得到的比如恶魔铁，金钢矿，克银矿。特别是在恶魔铁和金刚中使用探矿来得到。在机器稀有的情况下采矿和精冶也会获得蓝色的稀有宝石，他们会切割出更加令人惊叹的效果。
